Since Callie arrived, y’all know that I’ve been working toward getting my pre-pregnancy EVERYTHING back. Your body goes through so much and you never come out the other end quite the same as you were before. I’m okay with that fact though! I have been blessed with a gift far more precious than my once tight tummy and porcelain skin.
Though products can only do so much, I have been working on finding a great skincare routine to help my skin get back to ‘normal’. I have spent almost 5 months sampling products that target clean, blemish-free, anti-aging benefits and I am so excited to share with you my routine and thoughts with you.
When I go to wash my face every night I always start with the BYE BYE MAKEUP cleansing balm by it. Y’all I’m NOT joking…this is hands-down the best makeup remover I’ve ever tried. I just scoop a nickel-sized amount out with my fingers and massage it into my skin before rinsing. You can literally witness your makeup just melting away-I’m obsessed.
If my skin it doing well, I tend to use the purifying cleanser from TULA. I feel this has a nice fresh and clean scent and leaves your skin feeling the same way as it smells. However, sometimes my skin needs some extra TLC. If I’m experiencing blemishes, I will grab the Time Release Acne Cleanser from MURAD.
Once a week I try to use specific tools to aid in exfoliation. This just helps remove dead skin which prevents clogged pores. My two favorite tools are the Clarisonic Mia 2 facial cleansing brush & the PMD Personal Microderm Abrasion Kit. I usually use these items on different days to avoid increased skin irritation. I also apply the PMD Recovery Masks afterward to sooth and calm the skin.
Once my skin is clean, I apply my serums and lotions. My current faves are the Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum from MURAD, the Advanced Acne & Wrinkle Reducer from MURAD, and the Hydrating Day & Night Cream from TULA. This combo provides my skin with the retinol needed to reduce aging, the salicylic acid needed to reduce blemishes, and the probiotics needed to increase hydration and antioxidants on the skins surface.
I tend to switch up my skincare routine quite a bit. I can’t help but sample new products that have hit the market; however, sometimes I find those select few that stay on the counter (if you know what I mean). I also feel that though companies formulate their skincare collections to be used together, it’s okay to mix brands when you find favorites from each one.
Then…on those really stressful days, I grab these fun and legit Anti-Wrinkle + Energizing Eye Masks from Grace & Stella Co. to help de-puff my eye-area and relax. I can’t help it-they’re too much fun and sometimes ‘girls just wanna have fun’.
I hope you try some of these products out and let me know what you think about them. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below. As always, be sure to follow over on IG for everything Live Laugh Lanier…& from FL, thank you all for your prayers in response to the unfortunate track of hurricane Irma (of which my family and friends were minimally impacted).

Thank you to Murad, TULA, & PMD for sending me these products to try. I truly loved them all.
